From 2022 to 2024 Ekopak has signed up as one of the official ‘Co-Title’ shirt sponsors of the Deceuninck – Quick-Step cycling team. The originally Belgian cycling team is better known as ‘The Wolfpack’ and includes top cyclists such as Julian Alaphilippe, Remco Evenepoel, Kasper Asgreen, Mark Cavendish, Fabio Jakobsen, Michael Mørkøv and Zdenek Stybar.
Deceuninck – Quick-Step is joining forces with Ekopak because they are both committed to a sustainable future. They want to win with water.
Water is precious and essential. It is the driving force behind all of nature, daily life and sports. Cyclists cannot perform without water.
Ekopak can supply water to companies at any time for their production facilities, but we also supply drinking water for private purposes, which makes us a perfect partner for the Wolfpack and its #ItStartsWithUs sustainability campaign.
Patrick Lefevere, CEO of Deceuninck – Quick-Step, is very enthusiastic about the partnership with Ekopak: “Our team has a lot in common with Ekopak, especially with our #ItStartsWithUs campaign, which perfectly matches their commitment to sustainability. We both aim to grow internationally and lead by example.”
Win with water
Patrick Lefevere continues, “Without water, cyclists cannot perform: it is an essential product that we use constantly. Quality through the use of recycling technologies is the future and we are happy that together we can take the next step in that direction.”
Pieter Loose, CEO of Ekopak, adds, “Just like cyclists, companies cannot perform without water. Constant access to water is key in many industries. What binds The Wolfpack and Ekopak is our clear way of working: sustainable, international and performance-oriented. The ultimate goal of our organisations? To win, in a sustainable way.”
